Run by team captain Scott Miller and lead advisor Todd Foster, Two Paddles Canoe and Kayak races put on paddle races in Minnesota. The “Mississippi River Paddle Weekend” takes place the 2nd weekend in June and includes races and tours ranging from 5 miles to 150 miles. The River Hawk is 23 foot long and was designed and built for flatwater racing. It's efficiency is unrivaled for long distance, comparable in speed to an elite surfski. Drone City will be shooting some Drone shots during our record attempt! We are very excited to have them on board. Drone City was founded by Zach Ellefson in 2020 out of a love for photography. We spend most of our time providing commercial services including 3D Mapping, Telecomm inspections, Real Estate, Surveillance or Videography, BUT....... Our love and passion will always be aerial photography. Most of the drone shots we capture with our DJI Inspire 2 equipped with the Zenmuse X7 Camera. We also operate Phantom 4’s, Mavic 2’s, M300’s, a Mavic Air 2S and soon the Mavic 3E and Mavic 3T. St. Charles Canoe Club
The home paddling club of team member Wally Werderich for many years, the St. Charles Canoe Club, an awesome resource for paddlers in Illinois. They cater to all abilities from the beginning canoeist to the seasoned professional paddler. They host practices, training sessions and various paddling activities and events and have many calm water racers amongst their ranks. MRRC began in 1969 as a way for river scientists, managers, etc to connect and learn from one another about the ecology of the river. MRRC members are scientists, river managers, teachers, students, and individuals from private business and the general public who want to encourage both pure and applied research on the water and land resources of the Mississippi River and its watershed. Other purposes of the organization include supporting organized research effort on the Mississippi River, establishing and encouraging communication among river scientists, the wider scientific community, and the public, encouraging cooperation among institutions (sharing of facilities,etc.), functioning as an advisory group, and providing an annual meeting where research results can be presented, common problems can be discussed, information can be disseminated, and river researchers can become acquainted with one another.
